Dunning Pena Wedding

Cristina and Ian are a fun-loving and super sweet couple that I met through my coworker. I was so excited to work with them, not only because they were my first wedding clients, but even more so because I felt like we were friends as soon as I met them. The excitement in their voices, and the love in their eyes, enchanted me immediately. They had a strong vision for their Big Day, with a combined travel and dessert theme that I could really get behind!

I hand-lettered a globe and small mirror sign for their guestbook, a large Welcome sign, a medium-sized cell phone use sign, and the pièce de résistance, a floor-length mirror Seating Chart, with each table named after one of the couple’s favorite sweet treats! Though the Northern California fires caused a bit of stress for the couple leading up to their November 2019 wedding, Cristina and Ian handled it with grace and had a lovely autumn celebration at StoneTree Golf Club in Novato.
